Description

Golden Triangle Tour 5 Nights 6 Days

Six days gives you room to breathe. This golden triangle tour 5 nights 6 days starts with a genuine rest day in Delhi rather than jumping straight into sightseeing, then spreads Old Delhi, New Delhi, Agra, and two full days in Jaipur across the rest of the week — with a sunrise Taj Mahal visit and stops at Fatehpur Sikri and the Chand Baori stepwell along the way. A private air-conditioned vehicle and local guides are with you throughout.

Tour Highlights

  • A rest day built into the schedule on arrival, instead of sightseeing straight off a flight.
  • Old and New Delhi covered properly across a single, unhurried day rather than squeezed into an arrival evening.
  • The Taj Mahal at sunrise — the only Taj Mahal visit on this itinerary, timed for the best light and the smallest crowds.
  • Both Fatehpur Sikri and the Chand Baori stepwell on the way to Jaipur.
  • Two full days in Jaipur split across arrival evening and a dedicated sightseeing day.

Is This 6-Day Pace Right for You?

This suits travelers who’d rather not sightsee on the day they land, and who want Delhi split properly across Old and New rather than rushed together. If your schedule is tighter, our golden triangle tour 4 days 3 nights and 4 nights 5 days golden triangle tour cover the same three cities at a faster pace. Travelers who want to add a wildlife safari, Ram Mandir darshan, or the Ganga Aarti onto a Golden Triangle base circuit can also look at our golden triangle tour with ranthambore, ayodhya tour packages, or golden triangle tour with varanasi options.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival & A Day to Settle In

Your driver picks you up from the airport, or wherever you land, and takes you straight to the hotel. There’s nothing else on the schedule today — after a flight or a long journey, most people would rather rest than sightsee, so this day is kept free.

Day 2 – Delhi Tour

Breakfast first, then the day splits neatly in two. The morning covers Old Delhi: Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, followed by a rickshaw ride through the lanes around it and a stop at Humayun’s Tomb, the Mughal garden tomb that later influenced the Taj Mahal’s design. After lunch, you’ll cross over to New Delhi for Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, the Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat, and the Lotus Temple.

Day 3 – Delhi to Agra

After breakfast and check-out, it’s a drive to Agra via the expressway. Once you’ve checked in and had lunch, the afternoon is set aside for Agra Fort. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 4 – Sunrise at the Taj Mahal, Then On to Jaipur

An early start today: you’ll be at the Taj Mahal for sunrise, before the heat and the crowds arrive. Breakfast follows back at the hotel, and after checking out, the drive to Jaipur takes you via Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s abandoned capital, and the Chand Baori stepwell in Abhaneri. Check-in at your Jaipur hotel by evening.

Day 5 – Jaipur tour

Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, and Jal Mahal — five sights in one day, covering most of what Jaipur is known for.

Day 6 – Departure

After breakfast, you’ll be dropped at the airport, railway station, or wherever your onward journey takes you.
