Ayodhya Tour Packages — Golden Triangle with a Ram Mandir Day Trip

Our ayodhya tour packages option takes the classic Delhi-Agra-Jaipur circuit and works in a full day at Ram Mandir, without adding an extra hotel night for it. This delhi to ayodhya tour package flies you out to Ayodhya and back to Delhi on Day 2 alone, so you get Ram Mandir darshan, Hanuman Garhi, and the Saryu ghats on the same trip as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Jaipur’s forts and palaces — six days, one continuous circuit, no backtracking.

Tour Highlights

  • Ram Mandir darshan fitted into the trip as a single day trip by flight, rather than an extra overnight stay in Ayodhya.
  • Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, and the Saryu ghats, all covered the same day as Ram Mandir.
  • The Taj Mahal at sunrise, before the crowds arrive.
  • A marble inlay art workshop in Agra and the Chand Baori stepwell at Abhaneri, both en route rather than out-of-the-way detours.
  • A full day in Jaipur covering Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and Jal Mahal.

What’s Included & Excluded

Inclusions and exclusions for this specific package:

  • Included: A private air-conditioned vehicle throughout the Delhi-Agra-Jaipur circuit; a professional guide; hotel pickup and drop-off; sightseeing as per the itinerary; monument entrance tickets; and all applicable taxes.
  • Excluded: The Delhi-Ayodhya-Delhi flight; meals not specifically mentioned in the inclusions; personal expenses; camera fees at monuments; and tips and gratuities for the driver and guide.

Since Ayodhya is reached by flight rather than by road, the return airfare is priced and booked separately from the ground itinerary — confirm this with the team when you enquire.

Is This the Right Add-On for You?

This package suits travelers who want Ram Mandir darshan without giving up a night elsewhere on the trip for it — you’re back in Delhi the same evening. If you’d rather spend a full overnight stay in Ayodhya instead of a day trip, let us know and we can rework the itinerary around that instead. If a different kind of spiritual stop appeals more, our golden triangle tour with varanasi option adds the Ganga Aarti and Varanasi’s ghats to the same circuit. Travelers who’d prefer a wildlife safari over a spiritual extension can look at our golden triangle tour with ranthambore. And if you only need the core three-city circuit without any extension, our golden triangle tour packages page lists the 3, 4, and 5-night options.

Practical Details Before You Book

  • Best time to travel: October to March, for comfortable sightseeing across Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Ayodhya.

  • This itinerary can be adjusted — an overnight stay in Ayodhya instead of a day trip, an extra day in Jaipur, or a different hotel category — based on what you’d prefer.
  • Pricing: quoted through a free consultation based on travel dates, group size, and hotel preference, rather than a fixed listed price.

FAQs

1. How many days is this tour?

6 Days / 5 Nights, covering Delhi, a same-day Ayodhya excursion, Agra, and Jaipur.

2. Is Ayodhya visited as a day trip or with an overnight stay?

As a same-day round trip by flight — you fly out from Delhi after breakfast on Day 2 and fly back the same evening, so there’s no separate Ayodhya hotel night in this itinerary. An overnight stay can be arranged instead if you’d prefer more time there.

3. Is the Delhi-Ayodhya flight included in the price?

No, the return airfare is booked and priced separately from the ground itinerary, since flight availability and fares change closer to the travel date.

4. What do you see in Ayodhya in a single day?

Ram Mandir, Hanuman Garhi Temple, Kanak Bhawan, and the Saryu River ghats — enough to cover the city’s key spiritual sites within the roughly 1.5-hour flight window each way.

5. Can I choose a different spiritual add-on instead of Ayodhya?

Yes. The same Delhi-Agra-Jaipur base circuit is also available with a Varanasi extension, or a Ranthambore tiger safari if you’d prefer wildlife over a spiritual stop.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Delhi & Delhi Sightseeing

You’ll be picked up from the airport or railway station and taken to your hotel. With half the day still free, the afternoon covers New Delhi’s government quarter — India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and the buildings around Parliament House — a gentler introduction to the capital before an early start tomorrow.

Day 2 – Delhi to Ayodhya & Back, Same Day

An early breakfast, then straight to the airport for the flight to Ayodhya — a short hop of roughly an hour and a half. The whole day in Ayodhya is built around its spiritual core: darshan at the Ram Mandir, a visit to Hanuman Garhi, the hilltop temple devotees stop at before or after the Ram Mandir, and Kanak Bhawan, before heading to the Saryu River ghats. In the evening, you’ll fly back to Delhi for an overnight stay, ready to continue toward Agra the next morning.

Day 3 – Delhi to Agra

After breakfast, it’s a drive to Agra via the expressway. Once you’ve checked in and had lunch, the afternoon is set aside for Agra Fort. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 4 – Sunrise at the Taj Mahal & On to Jaipur

An early start for the Taj Mahal at sunrise, before the heat and the crowds build up. Back at the hotel for breakfast, then check out and stop at a marble inlay art workshop — Agra’s traditional craft, still practiced by hand — before the roughly 4-hour drive to Jaipur, breaking the journey at Abhaneri to see the Chand Baori stepwell. Check-in at your Jaipur hotel by evening.

Day 5 – Full-Day Jaipur Sightseeing

Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and Jal Mahal — a full day covering most of what makes Jaipur the Pink City.

Day 6 – Departure

After breakfast, you’ll be dropped at the Jaipur airport or railway station for your onward journey.
